Restricted / Banned list for OCs (last updated June 9, 2002)
Restricted elements are reserved for players who (a) already play a character here, and (b) have demonstrated maturity and responsibility. If you meet these qualifications and would like to include one (and only one!) restricted element in your OC's concept, keep in mind that the restricted element will have to be essential to the character, and you'll have to write an extremely convincing application.
Banned elements are not available to anyone. No exceptions will be made.
Explanations and elaborations for the inclusion of these elements on the restricted/banned lists can be found in: This location
This list is subject to frequent change. Be sure to check it before brainstorming for a new OC concept.

Stats/Attacks:
When we adopt the new stat scales and combat system, this section will change dramatically. For the time being, though, the old overdone list will suffice. These elements are not Restricted, but if you include any of them, you will need to justify them very well.
- Characters with Courage stats of 9* or 10*.
- Stats over 7*.
- Non-combat characters with combat stats - aside from Dexterity - over 5*.
- Area attacks over level 5*.
- Area attacks with Stun or any other status condition.
- Attacks with Stun or any other status condition over level 1*.
- Secondary (non-special) attacks over level 6*.
- Specials over level 7*.
- Attacks with drab names, such as Uppercut or Roundhouse, unless they're low level.
- Attacks over level 4* with Drain or Osmose effects.
- Attacks over level 2* with Drain and Osmose effects.
