Unlike a MUD, characters are not simply created upon connection. Every person, whether they play an EFC, FC, OFC, or OC, have earned their character through an application process. While our app is a bit on the long side, it is certainly worth it, as any player would attest to! Each app received is reviewed for themeliness, RP possibilities, depth of character, stats, and other features. Applications may be rejected if there are portions of the app which are not satisfactory, but don't worry - all you'll need to do is fix the problems the character staffer (charstaffer) has listed, and resend.
EFCs and FCs must go through a 'closing' period, once a suitable application has been accepted. This is so if other people wish to apply for the same character, they have time to write an app. If there are more than one apps acceptable for a character, a tie-breaker audition will be held for each applicant. Some EFCs will require an audition to test the RP abilities of an apper even if there are no other apps.
In this section, the files will contain both the actual app, and an extensive set of aid files to help you through any parts of the application that are unclear or require a set answer. If you have any questions at any time, a friendly staffer will be pleased to help you.
